“Electric Avenue”

Atlanta, GA – August 17, 2022 – 80’s band Guardians of the Jukebox, featuring Fozzy and Stuck Mojo guitarist Rich Ward, has released their debut single “Electric Avenue” ahead of the band’s performance Wednesday night, August 17 at The Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles.  “Electric Avenue” was originally released by Eddy Grant in 1982 on the Killer On The Rampage album. The new track, available via Madison Records with distribution by The Orchard, marks the first release from Guardians of the Jukebox, who have quickly become one of the hottest must-see acts, entertaining crowds with their versions of the greatest hits of this magnificent decade.

Ward recruited top recording and touring artists to create the greatest tribute to the 80's glory years of MTV’s pop, rock, new wave, and new romantic era.  Comprised of talented artists who have toured from Milan to Moscow, from Sydney to Seattle, while selling MILLIONS of albums and compiling an impressive list of Career Highlights, including the cover of Guitar Player magazine!

Because of their love affair with one of the most influential decades in music history, the Guardians consider themselves a ‘Five Star, Nostalgia, Sonic Time Machine’ that transports their fans back in time to that iconic era!

Guardians of the Jukebox is also set to perform on Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea: Four Leaf Clover, a 4-night cruise from Miami to the Bahamas taking place February 2-6, 2023.
